January is a time for reflection and planning for the upcoming year. I tend to operate in the fast forward mode, so reflection for me is very intentional. If I don’t press the pause button and make the time, it doesn’t happen.
Reflecting on the positive things helps motivate us to see our successes and continue to pursue what worked; the difficult times motivate us to learn and avoid repeating the same mistakes. It’s important to be very honest with yourself – make no excuses and determine to improve.
With this new perspective, there is a clean slate to begin planning for the year. Prioritize the most impactful ideas or projects and focus on the people and processes needed to get it done. It sounds easy – it’s not. But it is doable.
As for Enduris, this year you can expect an exciting, improved website rolling out January 30th, engaging and relevant training offerings and a renewed effort to connect with members and provide reliable risk management support.
Reflecting on 2022 provides an opportunity to again be grateful for the important work Enduris members provide to the public and the partnership we enjoy serving alongside you.
