I’d like to take a moment to share a story of thoughtful transition and ongoing service—one that reflects the steady, member-focused governance at the heart of Enduris.
Earlier this year, we welcomed a new member to the Enduris Board of Directors: Jennifer Boie from the Palouse Conservation District. Jennifer has been a consistent supporter of Enduris over the years, and we’re pleased to now have her contributing in this new capacity.
Jennifer began her service by attending the 2025 AGRiP Governance Conference in Las Vegas, alongside another board member and several staff. The conference focused on topics including governance practices and artificial intelligence. It was a valuable opportunity to connect with others in the risk pool community and begin exploring the responsibilities of board leadership.
Jennifer’s arrival comes at a time of change. In February, Vicki Carter of the Spokane Conservation District stepped down from the Board after 24 years of service. Over the years, Vicki has been a thoughtful and steady presence, helping to guide Enduris as it grew into a well-regarded and financially sound organization. Her contributions are deeply appreciated.
While Vicki’s time on the Board has come to a close, she continues to serve her community as the Executive Director of Spokane Conservation District. She is currently involved with the opening and ongoing development of the Scale House Market at the Quarry—Spokane’s first year-round farmers market. This project is a reflection of her long-standing commitment to building connections and supporting local resources.
As we recognize the contributions of both Jennifer and Vicki, I’m reminded that the strength of Enduris lies in the care and continuity of its governance. Our Board reflects a range of experience and perspectives, united by a shared commitment to supporting our members and the mission we serve together.
Thank you for being part of that ongoing work.
