Participants will work through real-life scenarios and then hear about best practices from the instructor. The training will provide tips regarding giving feedback specific to behavioral issues, as well as providing guidance regarding harassment, discrimination, and retaliation issues. The training will also cover other employee risk issues such as intoxication, workplace violence, ethics, disability accommodation, and labor relations. Join us for this highly interactive and engaging training where attendees will break into groups and strategize together.
Participants will have gained knowledge regarding:
- How to recognize when an employee issue presents risk for the supervisor and/or organization
- What to say and not say when confronted with these challenging supervisory issues
- How to minimize potential risk in advance
- What resources may be available to supervisors when facing these various situations
