Despite being illegal for over 50 years, discrimination and harassment continue to plague many workplaces.  Employees struggle with whether their behavior is simply a fun way to build camaraderie or hurtful behavior that isolates other coworkers from the group.  In this interactive seminar, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the following:

  • What is "quid pro quo" harassment
  • What constitutes a hostile work environment
  • What are the standards for illegal discrimination
  • What to do if you believe you are experiencing harassment
  • What happens when a complaint is filed
  • What actions could be viewed as retaliatory
  • What other workplace behaviors may trigger a complaint or harassment/discrimination
