Building Supervisory Skills 201: Connie Poulsen, Management Training & Consulting
This one day workshop is designed for managers and supervisors who have experience in their positions. The course provides participants with the opportunity to work through more complex problems in managing and supervising employees.
Managing Employee Performance: Participants will learn how to set expectations for both work tasks and behaviors. They will be provided with tools to assess performance and understand the value of feedback and coaching.
Handling Conflict: Unresolved conflicts are among the most common issues in workplaces and represent great risk to the organization. This session provides managers with the tools to resolve conflicts in a positive manner.
Conducting Difficult Conversations: Many supervisors avoid difficult discussions with their employees. However, improving an individual's ability to conduct difficult conversations can lower the risk of legal action and improve productivity and morale. This session provides tools and examples to help supervisors have those most serious discussions.
Cancellation is required prior to the training date. No-shows will be billed.
