This workshop is designed to provide new supervisors with the skills and knowledge to be successful in their first management assignment. The session provides real-world, hands-on examples of situations that new supervisors will face, and the solutions to deal with them.
Session One: April 6, 2021
Making the transition from peer to supervisor/manager:
This section helps participants increase their leadership capabilities by identifying key behavioral traits necessary to lead. It covers critical leadership qualities, the transition from peer to leader and provides tools for the leader to manage themselves in order to lead others.
Session Two: April 8, 2021
Effective Communication:
The ability to communicate effectively is a critical skill for leaders at all levels. Participants will learn about various communication styles, explore non-verbal communication as well as electronic communication.
Cancellation is required prior to the webinar. No-Shows will be billed. Registrants failing to cancel will be invoiced for a $70 No-Show fee.
