This workshop is designed to provide new supervisors with the skills and knowledge to be successful in their first management assignment. The session provides real-world, hands-on examples of situations that new supervisors will face, and the solutions to deal with them.
Session One: April 20, 2021
Managing Employee Performance:
Good leaders provide clear direction and expectations for their employees. Participants will learn how to set expectations for both work tasks and behaviors. They will be provided with tools to assess performance and understand the value of feedback and coaching.
Session Two: April 22, 2021
Conducting Difficult Conversations:
Many supervisors avoid difficult discussions with their employees. However, improving an individual's ability to conduct difficult conversations can lower the risk of legal action and improve productivity and morale. This session uses real-world examples to help supervisors to help supervisors have those most serious discussions. Participants will be able to conduct conversations with competence and confidence.
Cancellation is required prior to the webinar. No-Shows will be billed. Registrants failing to cancel will be invoiced for a $70 No-Show fee.
